Department of Fisheries and Marine Resources Utilization established under the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences- Universitas Brawijaya is decided based on Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences- Universitas Brawijaya Dean’s decision. Department of Fisheries and Marine Resources Utilization’s Structure and Position must appropriate with the structure and Fisheries and Marine Sciences Faculty Organization position- Universitas Brawijaya. Department of Fisheries and Marine Resources Utilization serves as structural unit in a Fisheries and Marine Sciences Faculty Organization- Universitas Brawijaya which is responsible for Fisheries and Marine Sciences Faculty- Universitas Brawijaya as an education providers unit. Department of Fisheries and Marine Resources Utilization organization are as follows:

The principal tasks and function of the Fisheries and Marine Resources Utilization organization Department are as follows:

Head of Department Main Duties and Function:

1. Organize a plan and department’s work program as guidelines

2. Examine the concept of lecturer workload teaching of every semester based on the applicable regulations, to determine suitability.

3. Examine the concept of Class Plan and Unit Event Class based on applicable regulation to determine the suitability

4. Organize the concept duty letter of trustee Lecturer as a suggestion

5. Monitor the lectures implementation based on applicable regulation as an evaluation

6. Evaluate the lectures implementation result based on the monitoring results to improve the quality.

7. Organize the plan of department operational costs per year based on the department workload and applicable regulation to accelerate the lectures operation.

8. Guiding and assessing student activities in the department area for consideration

9. Determine the supervisor for students who complete the final task based on superiors instructions for academic tasks acceleration.

10. Serving lecturer who doing research and community service in accordance with the tasks and expertise for the task execution acceleration

11. Organize the department activities implementation reports in accordance with the results that have been achieved as accountability for the tasks implementation.

12. Carry out the other duties given by the supervisor.

 Secretary Study Program’s Main Duties and Functions:

  1. Helping prepare the draft plan materials and annual work study program as guidance tasks implementation;

2. Helping prepare materials concept development plan Program (advanced studies, staff training / teaching, laboratory and administrative staff, soft skills training students)

3. Helping make the division of lectures and lecturers teaching load;

4. Coordinating drafting GBPP and SAP based on the applicable regulations;

5. Developing and monitoring lecture implementation instruments in accordance with applicable regulations;

6. Monitoring a student’s study progress;

7. Gathering the final score of the semester;

8. Coordinating students who complete the final task with the supervisor to accelerate academic work;

9. Developing a practicum implementation plan;

10. Coordinating administrative Studies Program and collecting documents related to Study Program;

11. Preparing draft report on the implementation of activities Studies based on data and information.

 Head of Laboratory’s Main Duties and Functions

1. Plan educational activities, research and community service in the Laboratory.

2. Develop operational plans and development laboratories

3. Provide services for academicians to carry out the science development

4. Set up a schedule for laboratory activities

5. Coordinate all academic activities were carried out in the laboratory

6.  Train laboratories’ member

7. Cooperate with external parties in order to empower the laboratory

8. Monitor and evaluate the availability of facilities and infrastructure and also laboratory activities

9. Reporting activities at least every semester to the Head of the Department

10. Coordinate with lecturers interest related to the science development and learning process.

Administration / Department of Tata businesses’ Main Duties and Functions

1. Help the Head of the department in plan organizing and related activities implementation.

2. Documenting academic data of each student

3. Coordinate with Head of Academic Sub-part associated with the administrative law in the learning process

4. Apply the decrees (SK) related to academic activities (e.g. teaching decree, Supervisor decree, etc.)

5. Prepare stuffing forms related to the activities in the learning process

6. Performs other activities related to academic administration

7. Deliver report periodically to the superior directly.

 

 Head of UJM’s Main Duties Function

  1. Organizing a document specification department / study program, academic procedures manual and academic work instruction
  2. Coordinating, monitoring and evaluating of the tasks implementation performed by UJM members
  3. Responsible for the routine activities of Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI)
  4. Preparation of Quality Internal Audit (AIM)

 

In education implementation, the Department of Fisheries and Marine Resources Utilization performed as:

1) Operationalize the vision, mission, and the faculty grand strategy in accordance with the function and position in academic, especially in the implementation of curriculum competency-based at the Faculty

2) Establish Teaching Syllabus and Content,

3) Set up area, component, and the teaching materials competency for each curriculum competency-based lecture.

4) Keep the entire area of ​​competence is spread proportionally in all lectures and skills that learned,

5) Establish a laboratory which will be hosted as the main place of related competencies learning

6) Coordinate the Responsible Party Block

7) Coordinate learning implementation and Learning Result Evaluation in each of the Fisheries and Marine Resources Utilization Department
