  1. Organizing the learning process which include : education, research and community service to produce graduates who mastering sustainable fishing technology, future oriented, disciplined, independent but care with social and have an entrepreneurship attitude;

  2. Conducting an independent or group research to develop a sustainable fisheries resources utilization technology system (environmentally friendly, economically feasible and socially accepted);

  3. Conducting the development and dissemination of science and technology of fishery resources utilization and to strive its use for public welfare, especially fisherman.

 Marine Science Undergraduate Degree (IK) (S1)

Make the Marine Science Undergraduate Degree to be an outstanding world-class standard and able to actively participate at the nation development through education, research and community service in the field of Marine which is environmentally friendly.

Organizing education process and effectively apply science, technology and art (Science and Technology) in order to produce an undergraduate / marine expert which is devoted to God and has an entrepreneurship spirit, has good knowledge and academic ability as well as technical capabilities which required to solve the problems at marine areas based on exploration and exploitation competency of non ikani, oceanography and conservation of coastal and marine resources.

  2. Conducting research activity to develop, explore, produce and enrich science and technology for exploration and exploitation of non ikani, oceanography and conservation of coastal and sustainable marine resources .

  3. Organizing services in education / training, research and service also community empowerment (stakeholders) in the exploration and exploitation of non ikani, oceanography and conservation of coastal and sustainable marine resources .
